STROKEMASTERS, WATER AEROBICS AND BABY/TODDLER SWIM CLASSES ARE FORMING!

POSTPONED - Strokemasters: A series of six swim clinics to help adult members of the Hollin Hills Pool—from beginners to advanced— improve the efficiency of their swimming. Contact Abby Brown at 703-765-6942 or brownabby@juno.com if you are interested

We will offer two water aerobics classes:

June 16-Aug. 28, Mondays and Thursdays, 6:45-8PM: Cost is $75 to attend all classes (22 classes); $45 to attend once a week (11 classes); single class (drop-in) is $6

Starting June 23, Mondays and Wednesdays, 10-10:30AM: Shallow water aerobics- this class is geared towards "seniors" but fun for everyone. Drop-in class costs $8/class

It's never too early to get the little ones in the pool. Join one of our baby/toddler or preschooler swim classes. Next session starts July 14:

Mondays and Wednesdays, 10:30-11AM: Parent and baby/toddler class (6-36 months)

Mondays and Wednesdays, 11-11:30AM: Preschooler class (3-5 years) - Parents must be present at the pool but do not participate in the class

Cost for the swim classes is $45 for 2 weeks (4 classes). Contact Julie Calvo at joolie66@aol.com for more details. Julie also teaches private lessons ($25/half hour)

JOIN US FOR FRIDAY NIGHT POTLUCKS!

Join us Friday nights from 5:30 to 9:00 p.m. for potlucks at the pool. Please bring some food and drink to share. We’ll have the grill going, too, if you want to bring and cook up some hot dogs for the kids. Potlucks are every Friday night except for July 4 and July 11.

GO BLUEFISH!

Our excellent swim team, the Bluefish, will again be coached by Alexander Collins. He will also offer private swim lessons for $20/half hour.

Practice is everyday at 5pm

Sat. 7/5: Home Meet vs. Virginia Hills (NOTE: both pools will be closed for swimming during home meets)

Wed. 7/9: Relay Carnival at Rolling Valley

Sat. 7/12: Home Meet vs. Broyhill Crest (POOLS CLOSED)

Sat. 7/19: At Rolling Valley

Mon. 7/21: Individual Medley Meet (AWAY)

Sat. 7/26: Divisionals at Broyhill Crest (NOTE: There will be a team dinner at 5PM and the pool will be closed at that time except for the swimteam and their families)
