Come on down to the Wildlife Sanctuary on October 18th at 10:00 AM! Rain or shine, we'll be taking down ivy on mature trees near the entrance to Hollin Meadows pool.
If you've got the fall gloomies, have you ever tried killing english ivy? It is psychiatrist approved! Then for the next two months you can walk by and say "I killed that. That tree will continue to exist because of me. I did good."
Bring long pants/shirt, gloves, clippers (if you have them), and an enthusiasm for destruction unknown to humankind.
