Let's see all the red, white and blue!
The Hollin Hills 4th of July Celebration at Voight Park is coming up and we cannot wait! Civic Association members and their guests are invited to celebrate Independence Day with hot dogs, ice cream, and refreshments (and of course, there'll be beer!).
The Bike Parade starts around 11:30 am. The picnic is from noon to 2:00 pm
We will also have pony rides, incredible musical stylings from the Mount Vernon Band, and screaming (smiling!) kids (and some adults) engaged in highly competitive games like a sack race and egg toss. Get those bikes decorated as the annual bike parade returns, along with classic and exotic cars leading the charge. Rounding out the back of the parade, we're calling for our Hollin Hills dogs to join us decked out in their red, white, and blue finery. And of course there will be some 75th anniversary celebrating happening too!
Bring a side dish or dessert to share. Some seating will be available, and guests are also encouraged to bring their own chairs and picnic blankets. This event brings together the community and you will not want to miss it.
If you haven't done so now, is the time to make sure your CAHH membership is in good standing. The bike/car/dog parade is set from 11:30 am - 12:00 pm and starts at the corner of Paul Spring Road and Devonshire and concludes at Voigt Park. The picnic and celebration will be in Voigt Park from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm.
Want to lend a hand? We need you! The Social Committee is looking for volunteers to help with set up, various activities during the celebration, tear down, and course marshals for the parade. Please email social@hollinhills.org to be a part of the CAHH's largest annual celebration in honor of America's Birthday and our amazing community!
