Hollin Hills Holiday Decorating Contest – Let’s Get Lit! 

The holidays are here, and it’s time to make Hollin Hills sparkle! The Merry Elves of CAHH are thrilled to announce our Annual Holiday Decorating Contest and we’re doubling the fun with house AND mailbox categories.

So grab your tinsel, channel your inner mid-century magic, and let’s light up the neighborhood in true Hollin Hills style!

Here’s how it works:

• Register your house, tree or mailbox by emailing social@hollinhills.org by December 15. Specify which category you would like to enter - note 1 category per house and mailbox only. 
• Voting starts December 16 via a Google Form sent to the neighborhood with entries included. There will be a write-in for last minute decorators.
•  Vote by December 22 (11:59 PM)
•  Winners announced around December 23

Important: Decorations are for exteriors only—houses and mailboxes should be viewed from the street. Indoor trees must be visible from the street. Please respect privacy and keep the cheer outdoors!

Categories:

1. Lights, Lights, Baby! – The brightest, boldest, most dazzling display of lights.
2. Spruce It Up! – Best holiday tree (indoor or outdoor, but visible from the street—no peeking!).
3. Blast From the Past! – Most mid-century modern inspired house décor.
4. The Mod Mailbox – Mailbox with the coolest mid-century vibe.
5. The Well-Dressed Holiday Mailbox – The mailbox that’s rocking the winter wonderland look.

 One winner per category—but if you enter both your house and mailbox, you can compete in one house category and one mailbox category.
